In which I show people just how geeky I can get.

So, my friend Kristen just saw The Avengers yesterday, which i have yet to see.

Anyway, now she wants to watch all these recent Marvel movies.

Obviously, she starts with Iron Man.

And of course I giggle at all the explosions and badassery.

Now she insists on watching the sequel as well as Captain America and Thor, neither of which I’ve seen.

I feel excited.

So yeah.

Theatre people not caring about plot in mainstream film. It’s a thing.

This is also where I offset all these action films with really good ones.

Weekend Update.

I am definitely going to miss Boston.

Yeah, can’t stay. Finding a place is like pulling teeth. From the mouth of the Minotaur.

Think about it.

On the bright side, I’ve a ton of connections for places for when I come back to live after graduating the Rock next spring.

I leave for Florida on Thursday, so for now this is my vacation in Bean town.

No touristy things, though. Mostly because I can’t afford them.

Though hopefully (and this is a big hopefully), I’m going to visit a friend in Pennsylvania before senior year. Geeky partytymez (mostly Lord of the Rings marathons) shall commence.

Hopefully, the job and theatre-going will work out in Jacksonville. At least I’ll have a place and possibly a computer though.

To Boston!

Simultaneous excitement and fear over being on my own and all that.

That moment when you realize if you had to go to Jacksonville this weekend you can’t because trololol tropical storm and memorial day flight prices.

Also, overhearing Simon’s Rock alums talking about thesis titles from this year is kind of adorable.

They really like “The Importance of Looking Earnest”

Yeah. This is what happens when I’m secretly freaking out about trying to find a place in Boston for the summer.
